YOU HAVE MONEY IN YOUR CLOSET!!
We are Seasonal:
February 1st Spring/Summer
August 1st Fall/Winter
We ask that your items are recently purchased within the last 2 years, clean, in style and
on hangers. We look for designer labels, items you'd buy at better department stores or
boutiques.  We accept women's clothes, shoes, hats, purses and other accessories.
You must call to set up an appointment first.  If there’s something we can use, we consign your
items for 90 days and you receive 50% of what it sells for.  We sometimes offer buy outs and
store credit. Items not picked up will be donated to local charities.

We are looking for:
     - Brand name items in EXCELLENT condition, RECENT TRENDS.
     - Freshly laundered in the last 2 weeks (even if stored clean).
     - Ironed and/or wrinkle free on disposable hangers
     - Purchased NEW within the last 3 years, with no flaws, holes, stains, or signs of wear
     - Brand & size labels intact
     - Odor and fragrance free
     - Season Appropriate

The more time you spend preparing your items, the better they look, and the quicker they
sell. When we set high standards everyone benefits!  Please don’t be offended if we
do not accept some of your items.  We must let our experience, customers’ preferences,
past sales and current stock be our guidelines. 

TWO CONSIGNING OPTIONS:

Option One: By Appointment:  We will sort through your items and give you back any
"No Thank You's" (NTY's) right then. Please allow at least 15-30 minutes for your
appointment depending on how many items are brought in. 20 items or less, please. 
Items MUST be on hangers for this option.

Option Two: Drop & Run: You may bring in up to 50 items and drop them off at your
convenience anytime we are open. Sign the Drop & Run form and you are on your
way!  We will inspect and inventory your items in the order they are received. However,
due to space limitations, any "No Thank You's" (NTY's) must be picked up within 72 hours
or you may choose to donate them.  Please indicate which one on the Drop & Run form. 
Any NTY's not picked up within 72 hours will be immediately donated to charity. 
Items may be on hangers or folded neatly in shopping bags, boxes, or baskets. 
No plastic trash bags, please. 

For Both Options: 

1. Items are counted and tagged with consignors' number and a receipt is given to
you for each new consignment.
2. We do not provide hangers/shoe boxes when unsold clothing is reclaimed. If you want your hangers/shoes boxes, please ask for them when you drop-off your items.
3. At your request we will email you a priced inventory list, including the number of
"No Thank You's" (if any) or you may pick up your priced inventory list after 72 hours
of dropping your items off.
4. Accepted items will be tagged and put on our website stores.
Easy as that...they sell, you make money!

WHAT IF I WANT MY UNSOLD ITEMS BACK? At the time of original drop-off you will
be given an expiration date for each consignment. You must call us during the final two
weeks of each consignment to schedule a pick-up appointment. Please call 2-3 days
before you will be picking up your items, so we can have time to pull those items. If items
are not scheduled for pick up by consignment expiration date they become the property of
Vintage Chics Resale to dispose of in various ways, including sale and donation.

WHO SETS THE PRICES? We do. WE PRICE ITEMS TO SELL. When you consign with us,
we are in business together and we will price your items as high as possible, yet still make
them marketable. After 4 weeks, unsold items will be reduced by 25%; after 6 weeks,
unsold items will be reduced by 50% in an effort to sell them for you.

A Word About Pricing: The rule of thumb for consignment is 25 - 30% of the original retail
price. Condition, style, and brand names play a large part in the pricing of an item as well
as our experience. Prices may change to facilitate sales. Please talk to us about pricing
concerns when you bring your items in, not after your items sell.
